Bought these two books a few years ago at a book fair in Glastonbury ~ lovely surprise when I found newspaper clippings about Elsa, although the news was sad.
I contacted Born Free Foundation (of which I am a platinum member) today, asking if I attend ‘Remembering Great Apes’ in October, what are the chances of getting the books signed & the response was if I send the books to them VIRGINIA MCKENNA will sign them, how fab & very kind is that ??
I believe their is a third book (at least I have it in a more modern paperback version) called ‘Forever Free’ ~ if anyone happens to have one they don’t want, I would be interested !!
