I was very fortunate to attend The Ape Alliance annual panel meeting in Bristol, hosted by Ian Redmond OBE, Jim & Jenny attended by skype, they are a very new rescue project, hailing from America, Jim is the only vet currently in Liberia, which is where they have chosen to settle & rescue these little mites who have lost their families to the bush meat trade.
Between my volunteering at N/a’an ku se & my experience with The Ape Alliance, I have found the need to change my life to have purpose, deciding to apply for uni, doing a conservation course, starting to follow a vegan diet & trying to start a little fundraising shop on this site, so inspired was I by Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection, I have chosen them to be one of the projects I try to raise funds for.
