I have emailed Justin Trudeau, in the hope he will read it, though just being one voice, who know’s if he will give it any thought
Dear Mr Trudeau
You appear to be a reasonable & very respected man.
In a time when the world is starting to ‘fight back’ against the abhorrent sport & selfie posting of ‘trophy hunting’, I have to ask, are you proud when pictures like this come out of your country
Polar bears are having a particularly hard time with global warming, then there is the tourist industry, humans are putting themselves in wild animals environments, they get attacked & the animal is the one to lose their life when ACTUALLY we are encroaching on their homes !!
There is a HUGE uprising against ‘trophy hunting’ and we will fight with all we have to end the sport which leads to photo’s such as these

Images coming out of countries like yours are now reviled around the world, these animals are worth more to you alive than dead & I for one feel countries need to find other ways to control numbers where needed & make the animals work for you with safe tourism ideas for example.
I would appreciate hearing your views on this subject, I find it hard to believe any decent, moral person is comfortable with this abhorrent sport, it really doesn’t do your country any good in these times when people are becoming more aware of what we are doing to our environments & wildlife.
