A school visit in Liberia today broke my heart. In this one room, 60+ kids have to share 25 chairs (19 of which are broken). There are 500 kids – the school can take maybe 50. The kids want to be doctors, scientists, engineers, journalists, etc. The library has NO BOOKS in it. ~ Dr Ben Garrod
The kindest thing people can do to help is donate $$ thru Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection for specific items: chairs ($10-15), school supplies ($10-15) school uniforms ($30-35) per child. Most urgently needed items! Sending or carrying here is very logistically challenging and infrequent.
Please make a note that the donation is for the school ~ thankyou
