Christmas is upon us !! Running out of time to do your shopping ?? OR WORSE run out of ideas ??

These days we all have so much STUFF, do we need more stuff?? if we did you wouldn’t have run out of ideas !!

I would like to introduce you to one of the charities which I contribute to monthly.

Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection.

Jimmy & Jenny Desmond moved to Liberia to care for a group of chimpanzees abandoned by a medical testing facility.

Since then, the authorities have started confiscating baby chimpanzee’s from unscrupulous people who have slaughtered their families for the bushmeat & pet trade, this of course is a good thing, it wasn’t happening enough before because there was no where to place these babies, but now they send them to LCRP, just last week FOUR babies turned up taking the total to THIRTY THREE, this excludes the chimps they have taken responsibility for from the medical testing facility.

Fortunately Jimmy is a vet, so their physical health is taken care of cost effectively, but still the medical supplies are needed as well as tonnes of food.

Also, they need to build a proper facility to accommodate & rehabilitate these precious bundles ~ always with the end goal of allowing them to return to freedom.

Together we need to raise money to build that sanctuary, the land is there & fortunately Liberia is one of the cheaper places to bring this vision to life, but it’s still alot of money.

as I was saying, CHRISTMAS, PLEASE consider giving the gift of an adoption as a present, this will help to provide for the babies & build for their futures, most of us have STUFF, do we need more ?? or would it be better to try & give back to these chimps what other vile humans have robbed them of ??
