The conditions of the jump are that you raise a minimum of £395 including the £50 deposit with a minimum of £145 going to LCRP, the person who raises the most will receive a year long virtual adoption of Gaia
Up to SIXTY people can jump, but don’t wait to book ~ other charities may also decide to jump that day

Why are we jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane ???????
I first came across LCRP whilst attending the Ape Alliance Annual Panel meeting 2018.
Jimmy & Jenny skyped from Liberia, with little Chance playing around them.
The Desmonds moved to Liberia to take care of chimpanzees abandoned on an island by The New York Blood Center ~ the story has been made into a BAFTA winning short film by Lindsey Parietti
It is illegal to own a chimpanzee in Liberia, however WHOLE families are wiped out for bush meat & the pet trade, but with nowhere to place these traumatised little orphans, they were left to suffer, be improperly cared for & sold as pets.
When news of the Desmond’s began to get out, in all fairness the Liberia authorities stepped up & have started confiscating the orphans, in the four years since they arrived, they have just accepted their FORTY EIGHTH LITTLE ORPHAN & they are mostly under five years old.
Soon after following them Gaia turned up, one of the tinniest to make the journey to them, it was feared she wouldn’t survive, tiny & toothless, we have watched Gaia’s journey, her AMAZING cheeky toothy smile, her first steps & her superior tree climbing skills ~ Gaia stole my heart

a team of dedicated caregivers employed & the land to build a sanctuary available!!
In August 2019 the FIRST prosecution was made, a MOMENTOUS moment for the lives of Liberia’s chimpanzee’s, hopefully the first of many & a deterrent to those who slaughter them !!
We are jumping to help build that sanctuary & feed those tiny tummies !!
